Trader Joe's

Yesterday, Becky went to Clayton NC for a party at her sister's and afterward, she went to Trader Joe's to check out their stuff.
While she was there she bought me some of their brand beer, Frugal Joe's Ordinary Beer. And well, that is what it is. Plain 'ole light beer. It's not bad. Price is typical of a cheaper micro-brew, about $5 and
some change.

Trader Joe's beer selection is pretty hit and miss. The "Kennebunkport IPA" is my favorite so far. The beer Becky got you isn't bad. It reminds me of a slightly stronger Miller Lite.

They do have some god awful beer there, too. There's one beer from Holland that I got there that tasted like lighter fluid. It was awful. It was supposed to be a lager, but tasted like a fine rubbing alcohol.

In any event, enjoy! Next time she goes have her pick you up some of the Kennebunkport beer. Stay away from the Kennebunkport Pumpkin Ale, though. Beer advocate doesn't rate it too highly (they gave it a D+).

By the way, at least 3 of the beer brands at TJ's (Kennebunkport, Sea Dog and Shipyard) are all made by the same brewery and, from what I've heard, might actually all be the same with different labels.

I'll get to the bottom of this if it's the last thing I do!
